Hi! Remember me?!
I haven’t posted in such a long time, and I’m really sad about that. I’ve been so busy, so it’s about time we had a catch up. I promise I’m working on my time management…
I somehow managed to land myself my dream internship on a super awesome TV show. I have one week left to go, and am so sad it’s coming to an end. However, on Thursday, they asked me to come back – paid! I cannot believe that I’ll be starting my first proper job in a couple of months – very exciting to little student me!
Anyway, I’ve been absolutely loving styling outfits for work each day. The dress code is definitely not as smart as I was worrying it was – I even considered taking out my nose ring! The horror! They absolutely do not mind and there’s people walking around in all sorts, so anything goes really.
I thought I would share 3 of my favourite outfits from this week. Sorry for the quality of the photos – damn those iPhone megapixels!
Black Polo Neck Body: ASOS
Floral Trouser: Topshop (Similar)
I now own three of these polo neck bodies and wear them to death. They are such a brilliant staple, and perfect for layering. No more worrying about your top staying tucked in to your trousers!
Also, these boots are the comfiest things on earth. I talked about them in this post, and have worn them constantly. They’re now on sale!
I’m not sure what’s going on with Primark at the moment, but they have AMAZING stuff in! I rarely go in and come out with one item, let alone two bags full! I bought so many dresses, printed trousers and blouses. This shirt dress (£13!) is brushed cotton and one of my favourite things to wear to work. SO effortless, comfortable and cosy!
These boots are croc textured leather and are super comfortable. They’re a low-mid heel and look perfect with dresses and skirts.
Dress: Urban Outfitters (Similar)
Collared Blouse: Urban Outfitters (Similar)
Slightly annoying but every piece in this outfit (other than the boots) are quite old now! I’ve tried to find similar items where I can. My main reason for including this outfit is not to irritate you if you cant find the pieces, but because I loved playing around with layering. A blouse under a round neck jumper under a dress – alllllll the layers!
I hope you like my intern outfits!
What do you wear to work?
