The £15 T-Shirt Dress You Need This Summer

The last couple of days here in Rhodes have been relatively quiet, so I have decided to throw a style post your way instead of a villa update. I'll roll days three and four of the villa update into one, as we really have tried to make the most of the gorgeous sunshine while we can! Thunderstorms are forecast for tomorrow, so we should make some more furniture progress then. Make sure you're following me on InstagramTwitter and Youtube so that you don't miss the next update!

Before I flew out here, I did a mammoth ASOS order and, without a doubt, this t-shirt dress has been my FAVOURITE thing to wear. I was worried it would resemble a giant sack, but actually, I think it it's semi-flattering and it is just the most comfortable, chilled piece to wear while exploring the island.

I initially chose to belt this dress with a western-style double buckle belt, but actually, I think I love it both with and without. The silk and lace hem adds a really feminine touch to an otherwise very masculine, boxy t-shirt, so a belt doesn't feel like too much of a necessity.

DRESS - River Island; SHOES - Vans; SUNGLASSES - Topshop; BELT - ASOS

I recently purchased my first pair of Vans (these are the Old Skool style), and I am absolutely obsessed with them. They make a really nice change from my Adidas Superstars, or Converse - they go with everything, and they add a much more laid back feel to floaty dresses and skirts.

The best part about this dress? Oh yeah, it's gone down to £15 in the sale! I've seen these band t-shirt dresses EVERYWHERE lately, so to find such a nice one with such beautiful details for UNDER £20 is ridiculous (in the best way possible!).

I'll be back tomorrow with another villa update, so stay tuned!
