Without sounding too materialistic, 5 new things have recently crept into my life and I feel it would be disloyal, and actually very selfish of me not to spread the word and shout their praises from the rooftops of A Worthy Trend. So here we go…
Longchamp Le Pliage Backpack
Confession: I bought this backpack three times. I kept returning it because I wasn’t sure I’d use it, but then realised that I desperately needed a backpack for our hike-heavy holiday to Austria. So after the third, rather embarrassing, trip to Longchamp, I decided I would man up and keep the damn backpack. I clearly loved it if I kept going back for it. It was honestly one of my favourite things that I’d packed for the trip. It’s perfect because its so lightweight and durable, fits so much in but looks way more appealing than your gym bag.
The Balm’s Meet Matt(e) Trimony & MAC Custom Palette
I have no control when it comes to my friend showing me make up. None whatsoever. So, after an incredibly expensive weekend of her imparting all of her beauty wisdom onto my face, I bought some eyeshadows that have completely changed the makeup game for me. Like completely. I had no idea matte shadows were so important.
So, The Balm’s Meet Matt(e) Trimony palette pretty much has every colour you could need for the perfect transition and crease shades. However, overexcited me didn’t think this was enough. Enter Make Up Geek shadows. The best budget eyeshadows I have ever used. I am a bit of a make up snob, but these matte eyeshadows are amazing quality, blend beautifully and fit in your MAC palette! My favourite shades are: Cocoa Bear (top left), Bitten (below Cocoa Bear), Americano (bottom left) and Cupcake (next to Bitten).
Lime Crime Matte Liquid Lipstick in ‘Riot’
Forgive the terrible iPhone quality of this selfie.
I’ll be the first to admit I’m a lazy lipstick wearer. Anything that will make my lips feel dry, or that I’ll have to reapply, I’m not crazy about. BUT THIS IS AMAZING. The colour is a beautiful brown toned red and the formula is THE BEST of any liquid lipstick I have ever tried. I get very dry lips even without wearing lipstick, but this feels like you’re wearing nothing and doesn’t leave your lips feeling dry or flaky in the slightest. It also lasts a really long time. Just all round love. I’ve been reaching for it every time I go anywhere and I’m dying to get my hands on more shades.

Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne
If you pass Duty Free without buying something from Jo Malone, did you even have a holiday?! I bought this fragrance last year on the way to Rome, and it will always remind me of walking down the streets in Trastevere with Aaron. But now it kind of reminds me of Austria too, and hiking through the mountains. It is such a fresh, pretty smell. It’s not too strong, but is perfect just to spray on as you’re leaving the house.
I never buy jewellery in Topshop but I thought this necklace was too interesting to leave behind. The chain meets around a stone, then falls and at the end of the chain is another beautiful, cube stone. It makes a boring black top look like you’ve actually made an effort…win win right?
