The Laser Cut Mini Dress | Exploring Lofer, Austria

I have just returned from the most incredible two week getaway in Austria. A place completely new to me, but I vow to return again and again as soon as I get the chance. Unless you’ve been there yourself, it’s not possible to explain how idyllic and tranquil this place is. The mountain backdrop at every turn, and the incredible, low clouds that make you feel like you can finally touch them like you dreamt of doing when you were 5. I can still remember climbing my Dad’s stepladder in the back garden in Surrey trying to grab the clouds. In reality, clouds are hardly any different to fog once you’re in them, but we won’t tell 5 year old Lois that, okay…

On one particularly warm evening, there was a party in the town of Lofer. A big group of us went down and shared rose-infused Prosecco, beers and Topfenstrudel (the BEST German cake you will ever try), while listening to live bands in the street.

If you can’t wear a laser cut mini dress to a street party in Austria, when can you?

I found this dress in Zara a month or so ago, and knew instantly that it was coming to Austria with me. I have the midi skirt in the same fabric – I think I may have a laser cut problem… That scalloped hem though.

Well done Zara, you made a beauty.
